Trash/Recycling Pick Up

Has anyone seen a sanitation truck designated for trash pick-up? Local news stations have announced starting Monday, limited trash pick up will begin. They asked us to shovel spots and NOT pile the garbage on top of snow piles. They also said it would be limited pick up for the week.

So has it begun in Prospect Heights? Just hate having it sit out there and then more gets piled on top and then we get wind/rain/snow and then it blows or freezes and then yuk. Thanks.

If I don't quite understand you...well, that's all right...if you don't want to understand me...it really doesn't matter.... If we all try to understand each other, well now, just think of what might happen!

Sunset Park had pick-up last night! This is especially sweet since it is still piled up outside my office in Manhattan.

Our Tuesday block was picked up Wednesday. The people putting out the recycling is pretty annoying--the sidewalks are crowded enough with snow now there are all these extra piles of stuff to get buried under the snow.
