The NY Post's crime blotter often covers the same incidents mentioned on Gothamist, so you may want to buy a copy tomorrow.

(you may want to wear sunglasses and a baseball cap pulled way down to protect your identity while making the purchase. Whenever I buy the Post, I use this technique.)

The Brooklyn Paper also covers local crime in its police blotter, but often skips crime within the 77th pct

Whynot, yet another reference to your reading the NY Post. Do the 12-step thing and surrender to that "higher power". Post readers are people, too!

      Jack-
Having a copy of The Post nearby sometimes has its advantages.

      For example:

-Page 6 keeps me up to date on celebrity gossip and the bathing suit photos make me a little horny.

-It is written at a reading level I find mentally relaxing

-The font size allows me to read it without glasses

-Consistent headlines make me believe the end of world is near

-Reading it is like a trip to Texas without the TSA "grabbing my junk" or the associated air fare.

If the newspaper and I are still around when I'm 80, I'll be a daily subscriber. I promise.

It looks like it could have been a homicide. From Gothamist:

BROOKLYN: *SERIOUS ASSAULT* (77 PCT) UNDERHILL AVE & PROSPECT PL, AIDED ASSAULTED BY A GROUP OF MALES IN TRAUMATIC ARREST, ESU ENRT,

I asked my buddy on the NYPD if there was record of a homicide ...

Looks like there was a big fight front of 12 Underhill Ave. Two people were stabbed and one was hit in the head with a hammer. No one died from the incident as far as the latest report. It's possible that one could have died later in the hospital.
