There are many places to go for brunch or dinner but Melt on bergen street <a href="http://www.meltnyc.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.meltnyc.com</a> is offering a Free glass of champagne to all moms for brunch and for dinner, moms entree is 1/2 off. When you have a family of 6 or more, its hard to find a restaurant that will have a table ready for a big group. There is rarely a wait on tables for large groups at 8pm during the week. Since it is located near the 2/3 bergen street train stop and 2 blocks from Barclays Center, it is a great meeting spot for drinks at the bar especially during happy hour.

Sunday Night Supper is a new series at The Saint Catherine in Brooklyn which will feature one performer a week on Sunday night for a brief and intimate 15 minute acoustic set. Curator/Bar Tender Pat Noecker is a long time NY musician who has toured nationally and internationally and released albums with his former bands, These Are Powers, Liars and n0 things This Sunday's performer is Anthony Macbain, a songwriter and visual artist who co-fronted Boston's legendary Tunnel of Love and is currently 1/3 of the rock band the Psyched in Brooklyn, NY. His songs conjure tones of early Beck from a voice and lyrical center that is uniquely reflective of his existence on planet Earth. Anthony writes and performs by himself as All Nines (aka "99999999999")

Climb-a-thon at Brooklyn Boulders for Genesis: An Aerial Play! Saturday March 2

Genesis: An Aerial Play is partnering with the Brooklyn Boulders Foundation to host a climb-a-thon! It costs $1 per climb - you can do as many or as few climbs as you want! Half of the proceeds go to Genesis and half go to the Brooklyn Boulders Foundation. If you know how to belay, there will be staff present for you to take the test to get belay certified, and there's also plenty of bouldering. The event is open to anyone - invite your friends! After the event, climbers over 21 get a happy hour special at Sheep Station - just say you are coming from Brooklyn Boulders! Looking for a rooftop event space for a 4th of July party. This is the fourth year we are hosting this event and it includes a live r&b/funk/afrobeat band, DJs and of course BBQ.
