      Born in Haiti, Marc Baptiste moved to the U.S. at a young age and went on to study Graphic Design and Advertising after which he promptly began his career as a photographer shooting collections in Paris and New York for various magazines.

      During his career, Marc’s 
work 
has 
appeared 
within 
and 
on 
the 
covers 
of 
international 
magazines 
such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar (US & Latin America), Elle (French, US & UK), Esquire, Ebony, Essence, Rollingstone, Maxim and Cosmopolitan. 

He 
is 
also a 
favored
 guest
 photographer
 on
 GNTM (Germany’s
 Next
 Top
 Model)
 alongside
 Heidi
 Klum.
      Marc is a Hollywood and music world favorite: his star‐studded client list includes Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Ann Hathaway, Kanye West, Tina Fey, Selena Gomez, Ed Westwick, Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendez, Drew Barrymore, including The First Lady Michelle Obama.

      His work with celebrities has resulted in a variety of philanthropic collaborations including photographing the “DKNY / Rock the Vote” campaign with Eva Mendez and Kate Bosworth. A UNICEF campaign with singer Ayo, and a campaign for the “Keep a Child Alive” organization with Alicia Keys, David Byrne, Lorraine Bracco, Cynthia Nixon and Lenny Kravitz.

      Come join us for a discussion with Baptiste that will touch upon his experience working as a photographer in the fast-paced world of fashion and flash, and the importance of Haiti to his inspiration and artistic eye.

      DATE / TIME: Friday, March 22nd, 2013/ 6-9pm. Discussion will begin at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.
