Would people be interested in a Brooklynian Happy Hour get-together?

I have met a few people on here, but always am looking to meet people and get together for beers.

I know it's early, but I was thinking maybe the week of the Public School's spring break - April 15th and on?

      Thoughts?

I've met Scarlett, and she is really good looking.

There's no way I'm NOT going if she IS going.

      Scarlett, are you going?

I'll go if Scar-ho is going. Especially cause I missed her birthday celebrations.

awesome. Bar suggestions? I was thinking either Franklin Park or Washington Commons since there is outdoor space and close to my apartment ... other ideas?

Minor Arcana or Way Station- but they don't have outdoors. Since they're all so close it could turn into a crawl...

      Longtime lurker, occasional poster.

I'd be in for a Washington-oriented crawl. The advantage of Way Station is it's relatively large (not Franklin Park large, but big enough). We could start there.

      Let's start at Washington Commons.

But let's see if we can get the mods to Global this first.

This way, more people will come, and Scarlett will get to be far away from me if she wants.

We should at least create threads on the PH and CH boards, if global no no longer works

Please do not double post, see rules, this is currently stickied and on the front page. We are looking into adding a global function to the new system.

      What time?

Let's begin this adventure at 8:00 at Washington Commons.

We will stay there until at least 9:00.

After 9:00 PM, we will be either:

      a. still at Washington Commons, OR

      b. At Minor Archanna (Sp?), OR

      c. at Way Station

      d. at Franklin Park

Newbies who have never met any of us should look for:

      1. Incredibly good looking people
      2. This wood sign

Ugh. Have step kids tonight. Stuffed dinner and birthday cupcakes down their throats. Cleaned. Made them clean themselves. Threatened bodily harm if they didn't hit the hay asap. Taking this moment to re-charge while my phone does the same.

If you go to FP, post it so I don't jack ass all the way down Washington. Otherwise, I'll see you at WS or MA.

Are you guys heading to Franklin Park anytime soon? I am able to escape the kids for a few hours, but I just found out some old friends are at Franklin Park, and since its like a block from my house, I'm kind of prone to head there, particularly if you're all heading there at some point anyway...

thanks, everyone, for coming out! It was great to meet/catch up with people! I think what I've learned is we either do a later-night on Friday or a weeknight. Early-ish on a Friday seemed to not be ideal. But it was fun!!! And now, to begin my spring break, it's bed time!

      Hey,

Sorry I left so suddenly, wife called with sick kid issues after only enjoying one beer with the group. Later nights definitely work better for me in the future!

In the meantime, was nice putting faces to some names.
