Heaters and humidifiers: advice?

    1. Hi Folks.

Its that time of year where the landlords lie about having broken boilers.

Anyway, I have a Celtic harp, and I need to really be meticulous about the heat and humidity in my apartment.

Can any of you folks recommend a good humidifier for a 200 sf area.

I need the heater for the living room and kitchen which is approx 400sq combined.

I don't trust Amazon or Home Depot reviews. I wish Yelp did products.

All I have to say is:

External control, are you gonna let them get you?
You gonna be a prisoner in the boundaries that they set you?
You say you wanna be yourself, by Christ you think they'll let you?
They're out to get you get you get you get you get you...

      HAHA!

Yeah classic anarcho punk. Not that I believe in Crass' politics or anything, but I sure as hell love their music and lyrical wit!

Last year I got a humidifier and a de-humidifier as gifts..........so I put them in the same room and had them fight it out between themselves.

Oh! Its that time again?! Thanks for reminding me!

............if this happens every winter...I strongly recommend that you find a new apartment.

When we were having some heating problems, I was worried about the dangers of a space heater (that I would forget and leave it on too long near flammable things). I got an electric blanket instead. It's certainly safer and cheaper to run, but only good if you're looking for something for while you are sitting in one place or sleeping.
