So, I've tried everywhere I can think of to get the skeleton key to my house copied, and nobody seems to be able to do it. Any suggestions?

Places I've already tried:
-Lowes
-Ace Hardware
-Hardware store on 11th Ave and Prospect
-Locksmiths at:
- PPW btw. Windsor/16
- 9th St btw. 4th/5th Ave

Most of these places can make a skeleton key, but they can't make my skeleton key

Allstar Locksmith might be able to help you out. They're at 284 Flatbush, 718 622 0100. They've made lots of keys for me before.

Phooey - that's what I meant ...not Ace. For some reason I always think of this as Ace. They couldn't do it.

This place makes reproductions of keys that will fit most locks. Maybe one of these will work for you?

Thanks, Yavel. Those are cheap enough that if they don't work it won't break the bank
