I saw that the Associated on Cortelyou was having a closing sale and after some talk with employees found that they had been bought out by, of all places, the Food Coop across the street!!!
I've been a life member of that Coop for years and think its great they are doing so well!!!
I also think it'll mean a nice competition between the organic food store that just opened next to Vox Pop and the Food Coop!
