THUG TIED TO 5 LOVERS' LANE ATTACKS

A serial rapist wanted for attacking a woman in Brooklyn's Prospect Park has assaulted as many as four other victims - grabbing them in lovers' lanes, police said yesterday.

In one horrific case, the rapist told his victim that he had filmed her and her boyfriend as they had sex in Prospect Park.

The rapist threatened to release the tape on the Internet if she didn't go quietly with him, police said.

"He says to the victims that he may show photographs of them being involved with a male in the park, that he would make them public," Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said yesterday.

Police say the husky predator first struck in June 2003, when he raped an 18-year-old at knifepoint at 1:30 a.m. in Baisley Pond Park in Jamaica, Queens.

He attacked again in August 2003, when he attempted to rape a woman in Roy Wilkins Park in Jamaica at 9:20 p.m., police said.

Four years passed before he struck again, police said.

In April, he raped a woman in Prospect Park after telling her he had taped her having sex with her boyfriend, police said.

"He told this woman he would spread these photos all over, ruin and embarrass her, and used that to force her to have sex with him. There was nothing consensual about it," a police source said.

He then raped a 15-year-old girl in Roy Wilkins Park about 8:20p.m. on June 11. Four days later, he brandished a gun before he raped a woman about 1 a.m. in Prospect Park, police said.

The victim in the last attack - who had been having sex with her cop boyfriend in the park - helped police artists draw a sketch of the hulking suspect.

It bore a startling resemblance to a sketch created by one of the 2003 victims.

Investigators used DNA evidence to link the same attacker to the June 15 rape and the August 2003 attack.

The victims have described the suspect as a black man, between 38 and 40 years old, who is 5-feet-8 with a heavy build.
