Middle of the Night A..hole Noises.

The folks over the back from me had a lovely party this afternoon that reached a harrowing crescendo at about 2am. I started bitching to 311 at 11, then called the 78th twice. I wasn't certain of the address but no matter - lots o people had called in before me with it.

At 1am I went over to have a neighbourly chat with the hosts and they assured me they would rectify the situation (311 advised me to do this. The 78th told me this was highly inadvisable).

At 3am (my darling offspring still unable to sleep) I stormed over to the precinct to confront Officer W and let him know that I was at the end of my tether, and rather skeptical as to their efforts. I hung about like a bad smell for a bit, while Officer W made a mysterious call, and by the time I got home everything was quiet.

Of course, I would rather the police spend their time dealing with 'real' crime, but 4 hours seems a long time to wait for a response. On the upside, I got to pop in and say hello to Donald at Freddy's.

13 Lincoln Place (or thereabouts): I hate you and your dumb loud music and your tacky above-ground pool. Shut up.
