looking for a good yoga place!

I'm looking for a place close by (walking distance from dean st at underhill) to take a yoga class that offers early morning pre-work classes. also, i want to find some kind of crazy contemporary spin on it, like yoga-knitting or yoga for sexual health or something fun. but that's not really important, mostly i just want to relax and stretch myself out...... any suggestions??

there are a couple of threads about yoga on the board already. i like yogasana center on prospect/5th, which does iyengar. nothing crazy though. iyengar is great for stretching though.

Embora is pretty close to you (Fulton and Clinton) and it looks like they have at least one morning class. Just Kripalu, though, not Yoga as a Liberal Art. They do have some cool dance classes on the weekends.

I haven't taken anything there, but I'm curious.

There was a post on this once before and I think there is a yoga center on the corner of St. Marks and Washington. Maybe one of our cool mods can search (Im not sure how to do it)
