Block Association? — Brooklynian

Block Association?

edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
I live on Prospect between Underhill and Washington, but the Block Association only covers Flatbush to Underhill. What's a civic-minded girl to do? :?:

  • Try hooking up with someone who's started one or is at least active in one. Robert Witherwax of the Eastern Parkway Association would probably be happy to talk to you. You could also talk to the people at the Prospect Place/Underhill Ave. Block Association and see if they would be interested in expanding. Finally, a few sources for Prospect Heights block association info are www.phndc.org and our list of block associations.

We have tried reaching out to some of the local BA's, with very mixed success, as the anemic block association list shows. May be time to try again...
  • we need a washington avenue "block" association!!
  • The Park Place/Underhill Block Association is open to anyone who lives on Park Place (between Vanderbilt and Washington) and Underhill (between Sterling and Prospect Place). Membership dues are $5 a year.

On Saturday, November 5 from we will be holding our annual potluck dinner. Newsletters, with more details, will be delivered soon.

If you would like to be on our phone tree or receive our email newsletter, please send your name, address and phone number to [email protected].
