Who is it? Something at Union Temple? It is a Klezmerish set of songs, played solo, drifting in from across the way. Thanks! We've been enjoying it these last few nights with the windows open!

while i was searching for my third PH apartment, a broker mentioned something on butler. "musicians lived there before," he said. "played drums in the basement all night long." we considered it, but eventually ended up on the back side of the block - st. john's, looking over the buildings on butler. while i've not heard the trumpet playing emanating from this musically inclined block, someone over there recently started going nuts with the piccolo - every night, wafting into my house, the tortured sound of someone blowing their lungs out on the piccolo. i guess it could be worse - a tuba or a casio keyboard, perhaps - but goddamn i'm sick of the piccolo.
