dry cleaning — Brooklynian

dry cleaning

edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
My husband and I can't find a decent dry cleaner. Tried Bubbleworks (took an extra two days to get a dress back that I needed the next night!), Laundry King (incredible rudeness), Happy Cleaners (wrong name? on Washington, close to E. Park- messed up my order and the clothes still smell dirty!)

Any recs? We are on Prospect Pl, b/t Grand and Classon. Willing to walk for decent dry cleaning.

Thanks!

  • Pardon my French, but Laundry King can fuck itself. I used to take my dry cleaning there...until they kept losing it.

"Why did you lose it?" I asked, exasperated one day.

"We do this all the time," was the reply.

"I'm never coming back," was mine.
  • The best place is over on Flatbush Ave: Wing Fat Dry Cleaning, 323 Flatbush Avenue (between Sterling & Park)
  • Corner of Park pl and Vanderbuilt has never lost anything of mine
  • Caree cleaners on the corner of Park and Vanderbilt is the BEST.

    Try it out.
  • thanks for the suggestions. While I'm at it, what about a tailor- for basic stuff like hems, etc.?
  • Caree does alterations as well
