Professional couple looking to rent large 2BR in the Heights

Hello,

My wife and I are looking to rent a large (approx. 1200 sq ft.) 2 BR apartment in Brooklyn Heights. We are professional (lawyer and creative director), have great credit and a glowing reference from our current landlord. We are quiet, respectful and very reasonable tenants.

We are willing to spend up to $4000 for the right apartment, preferably in a pre-war building or the parlor floor of a brownstone. We need to move by the end of October but could move sooner for the right place. Ideally, we would like a washer/dryer in the apartment but the most important consideration for us is proximity to transportation.
