Reverend Yearwood gets arrested

This is not Crown Heights specific, but I watched that video of the cop at Carnival, then saw this video of Rev. Lennox Yearwood, who has opposed the Iraq invasion and occupation, getting denied entry to the Capitol Hill hearing of General Petraeous yesterday. He was then arrested by a half dozen police officers, and his ankle was broken. Its on a YouTube video:


The video made me think about the problems Crown Heights faces. I love it here and don't want to ignore the positive, but there is a lot of poverty, housing problems, gentrification, unemployment, etc.. But when this kind of thing is going on in our nation's capital, what help is there for us in a place like Crown Heights?
