Pet-related volunteer opportunities

So I noticed a couple of these in a weekly events email that I get, and I thought maybe some of you puppy-lovers and crazy cat ladies might be interested in giving a little of your time (at least, those of you who don't already -- I know we have a lot of animal rescue and foster folks here!).

I think these are one-day-only things with no long-term commitment required, so why not go for it once in a while? This is by no means comprehensive, so if you know of additional volunteer opportunities, do pipe up!

Volunteer with Anjellicle Cats

Anjellicle Cats is a non profit/no kill volunteer run organization.
We need help with our adoption events every two weeks. You will be
there to help set up/break down the cages, speak to prospective
adopters and help cuddle the kitties. We will give you all the
training you need on the day.
