Part of openhousenewyork’s celebration of New York’s architecture and design, Angels and Accordions is a site-specific performance through historic Green-Wood Cemetery’s picturesque 478 acres of rolling green hills and its unparalleled collection of sculpture and monuments.

Directed and choreographed by Martha Bowers, this unique event features original music composed by Guy Klucevsek and Bob Goldberg, played live by a band of accordionists, and a visual installation in the Catacombs designed by photographer Alexander Heilner. Performances at and in Valley Water will be featured. Several tombs will be open to the public.

Meet at the Cemetery’s main gate, 25th Street and Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn.
