Concord, a stunning, silky soft, black tuxedo male with an adorable 'smeary' moustache, used to live with a family who reside in my apartment complex (Concord Village right by the Brooklyn Bridge). One day they decided they didn't want him anymore and simply tossed him outside, where he was forced to fend for himself. It was obvious Concord had never been outside in his life, and he cowered in a corner shaking in fear.

After a few weeks of seeing him suffer and become unbearably thin, I rescued him and brought him to the vet. The vet said he is very healthy, probably just under 1 years old. He has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDs. He has had all of his shots (including rabies), was treated for fleas, earmites and was dewormed (medical records available).

Concord was shy, and hid when I first placed him in his foster home in Brooklyn Heights, but within two weeks, he was quite affectionate, doing "circle eights" around his foster mom's legs, purring to the point that he vibrates!! He is very playful and loves to bat at feathers. He sometimes teases his feline roommates, trying to get them to play. He's great with other cats, dogs, turtles and frogs. He would make a wonderful 'second fiddle' kitty for a young, middle aged or senior pet (cat or dog, turtle or frog) :D because he's not at all aggressive, but loves to liven up the pet party. Please take a look at Concord's picture. He has the most unusual yellow eyes!! I've also included the photo I took of Concord cowering outside in fear. (It still breaks my heart that someone would just throw their pet away.)

It means a lot to me that Concord gets a permanent home, where he will never be 'thrown away' again. I am requesting a small fee to cover his vet expenses. Thank you for reading this posting. I look forward to hearing from you.
