Morrris family of brooklyn/ bay ridge
I have been tracing part of my family that lived in Bay Ridge in the 1930's [ 79 73rd street] Unfortunately the trail ends with the 1930 census and i just wondered if anyone is around with a connection. John Morris [ my great uncle ] was born in 1872 and was in his 50's working in "Real estate" in 1930 . married to Helen loftus Morris, they had three children John , Gerard and Aelred . I think Aelred died in the 1960s but have no other information . John had a sister Ellen living in Baltic street [ married to Geo Shiner] and a brother in Manhattan James P Morris. The family originated in Ballinrobe , Mayo Ireland . I live in Wimbledon London.
