Car accident 1/15/2008 at 833 St Johns at Nostrand

Does anyone have firsthand knowlege of the accident involving parked cars in front of 833 Saint Johns Place at around 11 - 11:30 p.m. last night - Tuesday Jan 15? My car was damaged, and debris was spread out over another 20 feet in front of my vehicle, and also across the street in front of the B45 bus stop. Whatever hit my car was big as the damage was high up, above the wheels, and demolished my side view mirror, damaged the front quarter panel and the drivers door. I'd like to know who and what hit my vehicle. A truck, bus???

Calling the 77th was the first thing I did. I asked if there were any accidents reported, I was told to call 911 to report a hit and run. I did so. The responding officers instructed me to wait 48 hours after filing my report before I requested a complaint number and copy of my report.

are you sure this happened tuesday night?

i passed by an accident at the same location yesterday (1/16) around 10 am. A large suv and a minivan collided in front of the bus stop on the western side of nostrand and st. johns pl. police and ambulances responded and the street seemed to be shutdown for traffic afterwards.
