Congestion pricing--please explain

What is up with this congestion pricing plan?I am hearing that Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights want resident parking for their own neighborhood only? And yet, those of us in the surrounding neighborhoods will not have resident permit parking so that we become the slope's auxiliary parking lot? WTF is that about? Sorry the $2.2 million dollar brownstone didn't come with a driveway....that is called Westchester and there is a lot of real estate for sale up there. Funny the two neighborhoods with the highest real estate think they are entitled to have parking spots in front of their homes. That just isn't city living.

I also read on the Park Slope Parents board that some people have TWO cars in the slope!! No wonder it is hard to park. Between SUVs taking up 1 1/2 spaces and some families with two cars in an urban area---there just isn't enough street space.
