Laundromat/dry cleaner

Anybody has recommendations for either or both? We're on 4th St and 8th. (We dropped off our laundry at the place on 7th Ave and 4th St last week but thought it was overpriced, especially for the fairly sloppy service.)

Nice Cleaners is nice for dry cleaning. 4th St east of 7th Avenue, next to Sotto Voce. Family owned, quick service.
Yep, the A&P laundromat at 4th & 7th sucks. They even have rats in the building. Since I have machine access in my bldg dunno about laundry.
You might want to try the laundromat just up 7th Avenue, I think it's at 7th Street.

I'm reviving this one because I'm looking for a good dry cleaner in South Park Slope who does women's button down shirts. A lot of places I've been to claim that women's shirts don't fit on the frames they use to press and they charge you more, which is b.s., plus no matter how many times I ask they refuse to use starch. Are there any places that do a good job at a fair price?
