My cats are finally getting along!

And it's about time. It only took about eight months. I got Tuly for Penny about a month after Nickel died because he's really social and I didn't want him to be lonely. Tuly wouldn't have anything to do with him even though Penny rushed to be her friend. After about a month, they tolerated each other but didn't have much of a relationship. I know that SOME relationship is better than no relationship, but it still broke my heart a little because Penny didn't have the quality of companionship that I wanted for him.

The other day, I caught them on the couch sleeping together, looking like a Tao symbol, nose to tail. It made me gushy.

While their relationship doesn't have the depth that Penny had with Nickel, it warms my heart that they seem to be friends now. And Ms. Property Damage also seems to have calmed down too, giving me hope that some day, my apartment won't look like a tornado hit it.

awwww...I can totally relate. I got Stella for Jackson to have a buddy after Phantom died and Jackson went into deep depression and got so shy. Stella is a little bully, but more and more often I come home to find them in bed together - not intertwined, but hanging out close to each other. It makes me smile :-)
