Menaced By Gentleman With 2 Pitbulls
Does anyone know the gentleman ( and I use the term loosely) whom I see walking on Washington Ave at night with 2 pitbulls? He's tall, white, has curly greyish hair and is usually wearing a plaid shirt. His dogs are incredibly aggressive and he takes great delight in taking up the entire sidewalk while his dogs bark and snap at passersby. Should you dare to comment he starts on a tirade of "Why should I have to move? It's YOUR turn to walk in the street- everybody always expects me to move and I'm SICK OF IT!...yada yada, go back to the suburbs, suck my d**k, etc" loudly while following with his snarling dogs.
I've been accosted by him and I've seen him similarly accost other dog owners. I've had it with this antisocial psychopath- if anyone knows where he lives or who he is, I want to file a complaint against him. It's fucked up and I shouldn't have to look over my shoulder every time I go out with my dog.

Gentleman? He sounds more like a punk (no matter how old he is) with a complex about his small penis that he's trying to compensate for with his two aggressive pit bulls.
What part of Washington does he walk his dogs on? -
he should be neutered along with his dogs.

I know exactly who you're talking about-I've seen him on Washington at different times between Gates and Waverly. The guy is a sociopath; I've seen him in numerous confrontations with people and it's always the same scenario with a lot of screaming and name-calling.

Hi guest - perhaps you'd register a name on this board so people could contact you by private message if they'd like to talk about your "gentleman"
It's still as anonymous as you'd like it to be... -
I think I know who your talking about too. I was just yelled at by him from across the street. It was wierd because I don't have a dog and I was just walking, minding my own business. I didn't even know he was there until he started freaking out. He was very angry....I think he may have forgotten his meds or something...it was really strange...I can see how someone who is minding their own business, not bothering anyone can be such a burden on the neighborhood....(!?)

OK- original poster here. I created an account, so if anyone can help me identify this...guy, I'd appreciate it. If he ever bothers me or I see him assailing anyone else, I'd like to be able to report him and identify him by name and/or address.

If I ever see him again I'll let you know....I wouldn't approach him though...that guy is freakin crazy!!! Maybe if you know his routine, you could get the cops to be around the area to catch him in the act. It makes me nervous because I see a lot of people with young children around this area and I don't want him or his nasty dogs hurt anyone.

that's very scary. where is this guy located. I live on washington, on the other side of atlantic from most of y'all, but I sometimes head over the border to catch the train or check out new organic markets.
thanks! -
I've never encountered this guy, but if I do, I'll be sure to let him know he's famous on teh intarnets!

I live right there but I've never seen him - I'll keep an eye out tho

I walk my dog near there all the time and have never seen this guy. I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks, everybody. I appreciate your replies. I should warn you to give him a wide berth, especially if you have a dog with you.
I want to add that this isn't some sort of vendetta or that I plan to enact any vigilante justice; I really think this guy is unhinged and I want to alert the authorities next time he bothers me or someone else. Ultimately I think he's a dangerous man and an irresponsible dog owner and I think he should be treated as such. If I need to get animal control to approach him I'm more than happy to do it. -
I've had a run in with him before too while walking my dog. Threatened to let his dogs loose when I said something back to him. Found out he isn't such a big talker when he doesn't have his dogs with him....if you know what I mean.

If this is who I think it is, He lives in my building (Washington btw Dekalb and Willoughby, next to the church). It's funny, because I see him all the time and have never seen him be anything but friendly and sociable with the neighbors. Although, one morning I was awakened by him screaming at the workers who were renovating the apartment across the hall. He was upset because they had made a mess in the lobby, which was totally unavoidable given the type of work they were doing and they always clean up after themselves before they go home.
Thanks guys, I always knew there was something funny about this guy and now I know to keep an eye out. -
sounds like he needs to be put on http://www.rottenneighbor.com/
