7pm sunday, fireworks ?

i'm near 9th street and 4th Ave. I can hear loud noises like fireworks but can't think of a ceebration to cause it, still going on and i can't see anything jolly ... anybody else hear it ?

anybody know what's going on :?

I just posted about the same noise. I'm like 15 blocks from you (5th & Lincoln) and hear it too. Must be fireworks but I can't think of what reason there would be...
