Walkathon Today with After Party/Update at Soda
NOVEMBER 13. Walk Don't Destroy Walkathon for Develop Don't Destroy's Legal Fund
Even if you haven't signed up to walk or collected any donations, you are encouraged to take part in the walkathon this Sunday.
the walk itself starts around 2 at 5th Avenue and Pacific Street. There will be speakers around 1:30 at the same spot. With a party at Soda after the walk, from around 4 to 7pm. 10% of the party beer tab at Soda will go Develop Don't Destroy's legal fund. So come on out and walk, or at least come out and get drunk early at Soda.

Register at Pacific and 5th Avenue -- All walkers should check in with registration for Stickers, Event Programs, Raffle tickets, Walkathon T-shirts (a gift for those who’ve raised over $250.00) and Helium balloons for the young ones (age 11 and under)

Hear “The Save Brooklyn Sym-Phonyâ€ÂÂ
Play games like Boondoggle Bowling and Color Don’t Destroy and face painting (for the kids)
Drink coffee and eat bagels
Mix and mingle with your neighbors
12:45 pm - 1:30 pm
Opening Ceremonies
Hear from Senator Montgomery, Chris Owens, John Rozankowski and the DDDB Emcee as we kick off the walk
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm
WALKATHON DEPARTSâ€â€ÂWe will walk thru the neighborhood’s streets and the proposed project site
Around 2:30PM We will raise the “Defend Brooklyn†processional flag at Freddy's Tavern
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Walkathon ends, but the merriment continues… Join us at the SODA bar, at 629 Vanderbilt, between St. Marks Avenue and Prospect Place, for an UPDATE PARTY

4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We’ll have Walkathon tees for sale, a Raffle and Prizes for:

-- Team Trophy award
