LOCATION: Hart at Stuyvesant, Bushwick/Bed-Stuy

The Room:
The room available for April 1 is a private 6.5 x 9 room, skylight window, and includes a loft bed. While there is no closet in the room, there is a clothing organization system and there is a closet available in the front room of the apartment. Bills are approximately $60-ish a month including WiFi internet.

The Apartment:
The apartment is on the third floor of an immaculate three family home (new construction) with a private entrance and balcony. (We like to plant out there in the spring.) The apartment is quite large with two bathrooms, spacious living room with 20' vaulted ceilings, large kitchen, and has an eclectic creative decorating concept. It's very comfortable, feels like home. We have two very sweet cats and so we can't have any other pets, sorry!

The Roommates:
We are two queer femmes in our mid-to-late twenties, who work in media production & activism.

Hadassah is a performing artist and technology geek, likes to share and is home during the day more than at night.

Sarah is a visual artist, web designer, with a penchant for urban gardening and a soft spot for Law & Order.

We don't often smoke in the apartment (prefer balcony) but occasionally in our rooms. 420 friendly. We both have day & night jobs, but like to keep things tidy but are not crazy anal. Dinner parties, gatherings encouraged. No 3-day ragers or live-in partners, please. General respect, communication, and fun also encouraged!

The Neighborhood:
The apt is in an active neighborhood a 5 minute walk (3 short blocks!) from the express Myrtle JMZ. We know and like our neighbors! There's lots of stuff bike ride-able, grocery store 3 blocks away, 24-hr laundromat 1 block away, and tons of dollar stores, cheap-o brooklyn clothing stores one stop away on the M, easy access to downtown Brooklyn/Clinton Hill/Fort Green/Fulton Mall 20 min bus ride away.Etc. ++ 3 blocks to amazing produce market & Goodbye Blue Monday - a local beer/wine bar and performance space...also close to Life Cafe & Wreck Room.
