Tired of speeding cars? Dangerous intersections? Truck noise?

Come to our safe streets forum this Thursday, March 13.

My blog, HawthorneStreet.com, is working with Transportation Alternatives on developing a plan to make the streets around Flatbush Ave. safer and quieter for pedestrians, cyclists, and residents. Though the blog is focused on PLG, we'd love to work with Crown Heights residents, since some of the intersections we'll be focusing on--among the most dangerous in Brooklyn--are on the border between Crown Heights and PLG:

Flatbush Ave / Ocean Ave / Empire Blvd
Flatbush Ave / Lincoln Road / Franklin Ave
Empire Blvd / Nostrand Ave
