Love the subway tiles.
Looks very clean and neutral, and lets the renters add their own style on top, doesn't choke them with something.
One thing: a hand dryer?
I must say that is the first time I've seen a hand dryer in an apartment.
What was your inspiration there?
***edited to add: Oh wait. Hm...on second thought, wonder if you can turn it on to warm your towels hanging there, while in the shower. Niiiice. -
Ditto. It looks nice, but was suprised about the hand dryer too.
-
hand dryer cause its in bathroom with no windows, i was thinking towels might get smelly in there. i also put a light pass through glass thing in there.
on top of the hand dryer, its not a towel rack, people from other forums has ask me lol, why would i put a towel rack on top of a hand dyer
. its a shelf. -
i wish my bathroom had a hand dryer!
-
i'm getting ripped a new one, on a game message board for putting in a hand dryer lol.

Is it coin operated?(':P') -
that is the coolest thing i've ever seen in a non-public bathroom.
-
off course its 25 cent for a sec!!! how else i'm gonna make money
. -
where is this and how much are you charging?
-
north slope $3,300. 3 br, 2 bath. inculdes washer and dyer use, storage space in basement.
-
Nice! Looks great!
(Thank god you did not put up those flying cats.) -

Which means Navy Yard, right? :twisted:armchair_warrior wrote: washer and dyer use
Ah, sweet. This should totally attract the goth chix.

Sorry ol' chum, just havin' fun. (hee) -
almost put in those kitty tiles LOL haha.
not navy yard, but close
its next to the vinegar hill next to the projects. -
how do you reach the cabinet over the sink? also smallish kitchen for that price
-
step ladder which i'll provide with each apartment, place also has over head storage.
yeah small but functional kitchen( i'll have to put in a dish washer asap) soon as my plumber comes back. -
Oh sweetie.. I can't get with the hand dryer either. Just too techno for me...there is some thing that says warmth and home to use a hand towel. And in such a neutral color bathroom the towels that are hanging make a color statement.
I liked the kitchen a lot. Hey this is not the suburbs. People don't expect a kitchen with an island and huge space. The stainless steel frig is a nice touch. A bitch to keep the finger prints off but it "shows" nice and clean and reflects light. -
well if any tenants want
towel rings in that small bath room, i'll put them in.
one of the main reasons besides the stinky towels, i thought they were more environmentally friendlier vs them.
you are right about the finger prints. i never had a one before. i'll get white ones next time. more practical. -
Yeah about 7 years ago I went with that stainless steel look in the kitchen... all the appliances, including the fantasy of my life commercial stove and I had to give up all the other creative goals in my life to dedicate the appropriate amount of time it takes every day to keep those suckers looking good.
-
nice lookin place .... 3300 ???
seems underpriced considering the quality
but obviously depends on the sq footage.
does the hand dryer come with
"wipe hands on pants"
already scratched on to it ?
-
if youve never installed stainless apps b4 be sure to instruct new tenant on proper cleaning.
you dont want some half baked sob taking a brillo pad to it

I think that's vs paper towels. A Hand Dryer is going to be a lot less environmentally friendly compared to a normal towel that you just wash now and again and reuse since it uses energy everytime you use it.

interesting idea though. Can you stand under it to dry off? I'd personally love that. -
i learn my lesson well on the stainless steel ones. after i got the fridge, i merely touch it all finger prints etc.. rest of the stuff i got in black instead. my black range, black portable dish washer(on order).
lol one of gaming friends suggested i should of had like 3 or 4 hand dryers but aim them lower, so guys can dry themsleves off
lol.
i guess i forgot about hand dryers vs paper towels opps on my memories
. lol owned. for some reason i thought it was vs regular towels lol. -
Now, if you had 3 or 4 aimed low, yeah, I think that would be pretty nice.
-
There is a joke there, you know.

One installed stainless steel appliance should convince anyone they don't need another. And mixing that ONE with shiny black glass (or almost anything else) is a great choice.
I would write more but need to refresh those stainless steel monsters in my kitchen with one of the 20 products that I have bought. None of them really work. But, I need to start tomorrow fingerprintproofless. Of course as soon as I make the coffee in the morning and reach to get the half n' half from the frig.. those prints are marked, obvious and feed once again in to my obsessive nature so I will need to clean them off.......again!
I am happy I have a plan for tomorrow!!!! -

um wow, after re-reading that, yeah. Can't believe I missed that one! -
AW, the kitchen is nice for most people who don't cook and therefore have no pots/pans/equipment-- especially the window. Nice.
But can I just say that while I think the hand dryer is weird, a medicine cabinet instead of a flat mirror would have been nicer, and sorry, but that light fixture is hideous in my opinion. On the other hand, I will be right over to steal the showerhead. -

At $3300.00 a month who could afford medicine . -
Hopefully there are more cabinets under the island else those over the sink/stove are pretty much useless if you have to use a step ladder each and every time. Where does that door lead to, is that the entrance?
The hand dryer and that huge built in mirror ( why so large) remind me of a dept. store bathroom. A medicine cabinet would have been more appropriate. Something with storage space is always needed. The hand dryer is silly. I doubt people let their towels get stinky and if they do that's their business. I like the tiles and what I can see of the sink.
Nice the tenant(s) have use of a washer/dryer. That's definitely a plus. -
Uuuuuuuuuum $3300 a month for a three bedroom/two bathroom? I don't think it's that much for a share situation, three people in this nabe. Esp with W/D access and brand new everything.
