The Sublime at The Islands

I had the jerk lamb this weekend. Do you know how incredibly good that stuff is? The stewed chicken is nice and all, but jerk lamb . . . wow.
They finish it up fresh: jerk gravy, fresh tomato slices and a whole habanero sliced and simmered up with thick slices of roasted spice-rubbed lamb.
:D:D:D

  • This is the original, first Islands right?
Is the other one still there. I heard a rumor it closed?

BTW: The peas and rice are to DIE FOR!! yum!
  • yeah, the one with the upstairs eating nook
I haven't been to the other one, but there was something with a similar name down the road . . .
the curry goat is also spectacular
    :D

I think Island Village didn't make it. But the original is still awesome.

I've not had the jerk lamb but I agree - the curry goat is fantastic. I love the islands and stop there quite often after work for takeout. since I work late, I tend to end up with jerk chicken (which is also awesome), but every once in awhile am able to grab some curry goat, which just brings a smile to my face.

hrm. I think I might be stopping there tonight.
