Professional couple seeking 1 bedroom garden apt in p slope

We're a quiet, responsible and drama-free young professional couple looking to move into a 1 bedroom with outdoor space in park slope. Something in move-in condition (no handyman specials please).

We're currently in a studio in north slope and are looking for a 5/1 move in date, but are flexible on an earlier date if we like the apt. We have strong credit, great income and good personal, professional and landlord references. We don't have pets or kids and we don't smoke.

Ideally, we would like to deal directly with a landlord. We're looking to rent on a long term basis (for at least a few years -until we decide to buy)

Hey- were you working with brokers? I'm in the same boat as you and shopping around with little positive results...

Yes. We tried a ton of brokers and owners but we couldn't really see ourselves living in many of the apts we saw..too many hellholes and shoeboxes. We ended up using rita knox and got a really good deal on an apt on PPW.
