Found an iPhone on Dekalb
Apologies if there's already a lost & found thread. I looked but found none.
I found a iPhone in the street on Dekalb Ave and South Portland Ave in Fort Greene, Brooklyn this morning. Email me the phone number for the iPhone to prove it is yours.
I'm reposting this from Craigslist because I'd really like to get this iPhone back to the owner. Contact me through the Craigslist email thing.

A suggestion:
Someone tried this when I lost my cell phone, and got it back to me successfully. She looked in the phone's directory to see if there was any kind of a number for "Mom" or "Dad," and then called my parents to tell THEM that she'd found my phone. I realized it was a pretty good idea, because you can never know whether any of the other names in a phone are friends, colleagues, business contacts, or what, but almost everyone's got a Mom or a Dad out there....
My father ended up calling me and leaving me a confused message saying "some woman called us asking if you'd lost a phone?" and I hadn't even noticed it was missing yet. -
Unfortunately (or fortunately for this person's private info) the phone is password protected so I can't get any useful contacts from it. I was able to figure out the number and leave a voice message if they check it, but that's it.

if only everyone is as honest as you

someone just stole my iphone on the G train. but i dont think the iphone that you found is mine, as mine only happened few days ago. i hope you found the rightful owner. -
I just read an interesting piece of advice that iphone owners who have a rubber case around their phone should put a business card or a note w/contact info in between the case and the back of the phone for this very reason.
