Drunk Brunch or Great brunch places (not expensive!)

My usual fall back is Mangia, unlimited champagne, but the cook left and the new cook sucks. And they had the nerve to raise the prices!

Yesterday I had brunch at Chavella's and it was really great. Mex sweet bread, good coffee, bistec with eggs, beans and verde chilaquiles. Oh yeah and chorizo hash, yum!!!!

I was thinking of going to Kitchen Bar for brunch, has anyone been there? Is it as good as the menu reads? Any of your favorites within a walk or train ride away?
