Looking to Form A Unique Writing Group

Hola everyone--

I'm hoping to form a challenging/fun/exciting writing group of like-minded wannabe (or already established) journalists/bloggers and other non-fiction peeps. While I'm always up for a cocktail or a cupcake (and hope to enjoy both during meetings), I'm only interested in teaming up with serious, ready to hit the ground running writers --i.e. committed to coming to our meetings, reading each other's work, and offering constructive criticism. Would like to meet weekly or bi-weekly in either a brooklyn or downtown nyc location during the evening. I'm hoping we can strong arm each other into writing regularly, share resources and experiences and form our own co-ed "cashmere mafia" for writing up-and-comers. Sarcastic, smart aleck, know-it-all writers encouraged to apply, and if you're funny (or want to be) even better.
