Question about Lefferts — Brooklynian

Question about Lefferts

Hi,
Moving from the Slope after 8 years of living here. I'm looking for more bang for my buck. I work from home so I'd like to be able to roll out of my Apt and have some cafes etc..My girlfrind wants to be right next to the Q. I'm not familiar with Lefferts. What streets are considered Prime Lefferts, safe and very close to the q?

Thanks!

  • Don't know what is considered prime Lefferts but I don't think that there are that many cafe's in Lefferts Gardens, at least not around the Prospect Park Station on the Q train and I don't recall a lot happening around Parkside either. I mean, there are stores but not the kind of cafe's that are prevalent in Park Slope. You might want to consider Prospect Heights, which I believe you can get more bang for your buck than Park Slope and it does have cafe's, not as many as Park Slope but similar to the kind that you find in Park Slope plus Park Slope is easily accessible. Also, the 7th Avenue Station on the Q train is right there depending on where you are at.
