Hi- I just got health insurance (yay!) and want to see a good physician (preferably someone who specializes in internal medicine). I have Oxford insurance. Can anyone recommend a particularly good doctor? I have no gender preference.

Do a search on these boards and you'll find literally tons of recs on doctors. It seems every month someone posts about it. That and strollers or dentists :roll:

Are you wanting a doctor in the Slope? If not, my doc is in the city, internal med specialty, and takes Oxford. She's Dr. Roberta Lee and she's on 5th Ave b/w 27th & 28th. Check out the Center's website at www.healthandhealingny.org.

She is fantastic! Can't say enough good things about her.

"walk-in LICH clinic on Atlantic & Clinton" i didn't know there was a walk-in clinic over there. do you have to have insurance?

They take uninsured patients, but they'll charge you, I think.
