micro chip your pet?

just curious, i put the microchip in my cat when she got fixed way back when... are there any success stories about pets escaping and then being rescued because of their implanted micro chip?

turns out it belonged to the crazy neighbor who didn't want it anymore. So they kept it. I guess it "works" in the sense they found the owner. It was just that the owner didn't want to be found!

I recommend micro chipping your cat. I worked at a vet clinic for numerous years and saw lots of cats reunited with their owners because of the micro chip. Most all vet clinics and shelters scan an animal that is brought to them immediately. All of my cats are micro chipped. I highly recommend it.
