Can someone suggest a good jewelry repair shop?

I can travel but prefer to stay in Brooklyn. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Garry Jewelers. Michael is great-- he'll charm you with the history of your piece of jewelery and the neighborhood. More than makes up for the sometimes irregular hours. He's on Fifth between 10th and 11th. I've gotten three vintage watches repaired, a necklace redone and a diamond for my engagement ring. Great prices, great place.

Yep, Michael at Garry Jewellers is who I would recommend also. Just be aware that things are never ready when he says they will be, always add a few days on to any time he gives you.
