Sven with a Van (Man with a Van) $45 an Hour

Hey Brooklyn, I'm a comedian supporting myself with moving work until Letterman calls. Been doing the moving 3 years. He's gonna call.

It's an extended van with an extended roof (11 feet by 5 feet by 5.5 feet of cargo space. I can extend the space even more, if necessary, with a trailer (for out-of-town moves only.) I move apartments and single pieces that people just bought on Craig's List. I've moved motorcycles and art - you name it. Have dollies, blankets, straps etc. and lots of satisfied customers. You and your friends are welcome to help with the moving to speed things up, or I can bring extra help if you like. You are also welcome to ride along in the van to the destination.

Rates within the 5 Boroughs:

Me and the van: $45 an hour (1-hour minimum)

Me, 1 helper and the van: $65 an hour (2-hour minimum)

I can fit quite a bit in the van (Couch, dressers, bed, boxes and bags all in one load). Most importantly, I show up, which is something some Many movers neglect to do, and I move fast, like I want you to call me for your next move, not like I'm milking the clock.

Long-distance moves out of the city to places like Washington D.C. or Massachusetts are available for a flat rate. Call or email and we can discuss.
