I had the world's weirdest subway day yesterday. somewhere in the middle of it I saw a black pant/shirt clad hipster carting his guitar up the subway platform being chased by a really bizarrely dressed homeless dude who kept saying "wait man, wait. I wanna hear you play me a song!"

on an even further unrelated note, is it me, or does the 1/2/3 subway line have some kind of exclusive contract with insane homeless people? I guess it's relatively colder so there are more homeless folks in the subways and such but I swear I saw at least 10 totally deranged people yesterday on that line.

Heh. I'm amused by the mental picture of the city signing a contract to spread out the mentally ill uniformly. Do you get benefits with that? The only crazy person I see on the 1/2/3 is the bugged out knitting lady and she's doing a 9-whatever like me and not homeless.

Re: "How do I know it's you guys?" Next time, print the words Daily Heights on a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper and fold it into a table tent. I will do it if I ever get special privileges to go out and play on a school night...

while the hardcore crew loves you, obviously, at least one member vaguely regrets it. I woke up this AM with *cough* cat toys in bed with me. as my alarm was blaring into my ear I was like "wtf is this weird furry thing with a bell on it?" and my kitten attacked my hand and ... anyway. it was very traumatizing. thankfully I was smart enough to turn on the TV and find out about the whole b/q debacle. but that just meant I had to brave the 2/3 in my not so fine state. and I'm rambling.
