Furnished room for rent

We have a furnished room for rent in our home. The house is on 9th street between 4th and 5th Ave. in Park Slope. The room has two large windows, a walk in closet that is in an attached ante room/ dressing room. The situation is quite unique. This is not a share. the building is freestanding (not a brownstone) and there is a gorgeous front garden and there is a center hall so you enter through a front vestibule, walk up 2 flights and open the door to your room. You are not walking through any one else's space. If you need a private, secure "alone" place to live where you are not required to negotiate the needs of your roomates this might be for you. There are no roomates.

There are no cooking facilities, which means there is no frig, stove, microwave. It is a good situation for someone who eats out or would bring food in. No pets. There is no lease but the other 2 people who also have rooms on the floor have been living there 12 and 4 years respectively. If it is working out for you and us then you can stay as long or short as you need. We have owned the building and resided in it since 1981. We check references and credit. The F and R train are on the corner. the room is available now or June 1st move in. For the right person we will work with a move in date that works for you.

The monthly rent is $625 and one month security is required. The security will be returned in full with 2 weeks notice that you are planning on vacating.
