PLG Arts Group Show at K-Dog
Reception Tomorrow for PLG Arts Group Show
The reception for PLG Arts’ First Annual Group Art Show will be this evening, May 23rd, from 7—9 PM at K-Dog & Dunebuggy, 43 Lincoln Road, bet. Ocean and Flatbush Avenues. Many of the twenty local artists, whose work is on display, will be on hand.
Works include paintings, prints, photographs, collages, sculpted paper and linen works, and more. All work is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to support PLG Arts public programs. Prices range from $15 to $3,000.
The visual artists represented in this show are:
Bart Atsin, Efrat Baler, Janet Bohman, Selma Cooper, Sheryl Foster, Tiffany Falter, Daniel Freeman, Wes Gunn, Andy Hill, Clay Horne, Rob Horne, Lou Howort, Bob Kaplan, Erika Kuciw, Marcia Lloyd, Rich Lubell, Bob Marvin, Karl McIntosh, Otto Neals, and Jo Pendola
PLG Arts is a community arts organization that promotes the arts, supports local artists, and builds community through celebrating the vibrant collective creativity of Prospect Lefferts Gardens and surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods.

You're welcome. FWIW the group show will be up until June 8th {and will be included on the June 1st PLG house tour}. You missed a great reception--almost all the artists were there and people actually talked about art.
The PLG Arts Jazz night at the Inkwell is also a really good monthly event.
I guess I should read and post on this board more often--I waas under the impression that there was little PLG content, but perhaps I'm wrong. -
Well, here's the thing. It seems that most of the conversations here involve eating, drinking, shootings or strollers. All worthy topics, but sometimes it's nice to have a break and see some posts about art. :P
