New Sheepshead Bay community website

Hi all,

Sheepshead Bay has its own brand-spankin'-new blog - SheepsheadBites.com.

The site will take a passionate - and sometimes irreverent - angle on Sheepshead Bay's community meetings, development issues, news, local politics, interesting people, happenings and cool new places. We hope to be informative and a center of debate on issues in the Bay area, and I really hope all of you will stop by and contribute to the conversation.

The site has been up for about three weeks now, and one of my first posts was an open invitation to all residents and friends of the Bay to tell us what you'd like to see covered. Please take a moment and let me know who you are and what you'd like to see on the Bite by going to that post here:

About me: I've lived in Sheepshead Bay all of my life, and am glad to finally give something back to the community that's helped shape me. Until recently, I worked in both editorial and online operations for an international magazine based in Manhattan, and occasionally get some freelancing in for papers that have included Bay News and Bay Currents.
