Kingston and Dean - Frank and Jeff's Place? — Brooklynian

Kingston and Dean - Frank and Jeff's Place?

Subject: Kingston and Dean - Frank and Jeff's Place?

Saw a sign today on a storefront on Kingston between Bergen and Dean that said "Frank and Jeff's Place - Coming Soon" or something like this. Anyone know what this is going to be?

  • No idea, but I'm excited to find out! It's nice to see so many new places appearing in the area - I got to hit "Good Catch", the new fish 'n chips joint on Bergen, the day it opened. :)
  • I was walking by yesterday and saw the door open so I stuck my head in. There appears to be a small front room with a bar and then a back room. I couldn't really see too far in so I'm not sure how that's going to be set up.

I asked a guy working there if it was going to be a bar and he said no, that it was going to be more of a lunch spot with sandwiches and lunch type food. He said they are expecting to be open in a month or so, hopefully they will stay on track and not turn into one of these businesses that is perpetually opening "in a month or so." The work they had done that I could see looked pretty nice and I think the neighborhood could really use something like this.
