Hebrew Language Charter School Coming to Sheepshead

I hope everyone's ready for another neighborhood controversy. Apparently, investor and philanthropist Michael Steinhardt's foundation is backing an application - to be submitted tomorrow - for a Hebrew language charter school (which means public funds) in our area. The will offer secular instruction of the Hebrew language and modern Jewish and Israeli culture. Steinhardt has many enemies, and as this is being seen as the test-bed for a national initiative, you can expect a clamor around this one.
