You're right, they probably don't care, but guess what? This is an important issue that deserves attention and though the world usually revolves around them exclusively, there are actually pressing issues some of their neighbors deal with... But that may or may not mean anything.
Sorry to all the gentrifiers who on this one occasion actually have to think about someone else who lives in the neighborhood and are dealing with more pressing issues than finding places that sell gourmet brie.... -
eberri, you posted this as an advertisement, obviously hoping that others would take interest in attending. Yet you take a sarcastic attitude and make sweeping assumptions about an entire group of people, stating that they probably wouldn't care about this important issue. How can you be so sure of this? And do you think that this type of approach will persuade others to attend?
Need I point out the irony of informing others about a forum intent on addressing an unjust approach to law enforcement even as you yourself engage in a similar form of stereotypical thinking? -
