A rant:

what is up with the entitled and irresponsible dog owners in this community? At the farmer's market this morning it was difficult to shop for fear of tripping over leashes, small scampering dogs and even a massive unleashed hound lying in the middle of the block. What gives? who are these people who think that they can pretend they're shopping sans pet and just wander around w/o making the slightest effort to control their dogs?

I know the brooklyn flea has been given a hard time for being a dog free zone but I think people who can't pay attention to what their pets are doing (or prevent said pets from lunging at other people's pets or at other people) should not be permitted to take pets to the market.

come on guys, last i checked it was a farmers market not a dog run. show a little common sense and community mindedness. ARGH
