Anybody have suggestions for giving a couch a thorough cleaning? Steam cleaner, elbow grease, chemicals??

steam and if you want to make it real nice put a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the water.

Dont know the cost of renting a machine but I just made an appt with Sears to clean my loveseat for 69 dollars online.That was the best price I could get and since they did a good job on my carpet years ago I will try them now.
