How hard is it? Seriously?
Here's my rant...
Every week my landlord neglects to take out our building's garbage. We have four floors of tenants so the garbage starts overflowing and stinking. Since it's summer the flies and bees start swarming around it and flying through any open window.
How f*$#ing hard is to take it out? Other tenants and myself end up doing it because we know if we don't it won't get done. He's gotten tickets from the Sanitation Department but he still can't seem to drag his sorry ass over and clean up the mess. I'm paying my (high-ass) rent on time every month and this is the only thing he has to do besides bank my money so I ask you...how hard is it? Seriously?
End rant.

sorry to tell you this, but he's pretty much banking on you guys doing it. why should he come deal with it?
-
He should because he' the landlord and it is his responsibility. However, the op and her neighbors are enabling him. Can you and the other tenants get together and write him a letter threatening to get the Sanitation Dept to give him a really heavy fine if he doesn't step it up?

i was being facetious!
